Our Comfrey Salve is a time-honored herbal remedy made with both comfrey leaves and roots to maximize its skin-repairing and tissue-supporting properties. Often called “knitbone” in traditional herbalism, comfrey has been used for generations to help soothe sore muscles, support joint health, and encourage the healing of minor wounds, bruises, and sprains.

This salve is ideal for tired hands, bruises, minor strains, and dry or rough skin. Naturally free of synthetic ingredients, it’s a must-have for your herbal first-aid kit or post-garden wind-down.

How to use: Apply to clean, unbroken skin as needed.

DO NOT use on deep or puncture wounds or use comfrey if you have liver disease, alcoholism, or cancer. This salve is Not intended for Children, the elderly, pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Our salve is handcrafted in small batches with intentional, high-quality ingredients that nourish the skin. The herbs are infused in olive oil for a minimum of 6 weeks to ensure a high concentration of medicinal property in the final product. Our salve is free of petrolatum or petroleum jelly, preservatives, parabens, phthalates, and fragrance.

Use and Care for Your Salve

Warm a small amount with your fingers and rub gently into skin until absorbed. For external use only. Store in a cool and dry place.

2 oz. tin with screw top lid; handmade in small batches at our studio in Minnesota.

Precautions

If this product causes irritation, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. This product will melt in extreme heat.
